Perfect Binding (glued)
NOTE: Hal’s version of “Perfect Binding” is called PUR binding. This type of binding is meant for thicker books that must be laid flat (music books). PUR uses a piece of cotton along with the glue in the spine, which allows for better flexibility; standard Perfect Binding will crack if the spine is forced too far back.
GBC Binding or Comb Binding (plastic comb, pages cannot turn back on themselves but opens flat)
Saddle Stitch (Staples)
Spiral or Coil Bound
Can be made of plastic or metal
